Extra tool bar removal needed

hi,
i am having extra tool bar in my internet explorer 6. its
called "Browser1Name". how can i remove it for good.
my system is XP.

Hi,

Toolbar Cop from http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/ can remove many add-ons of
this type.

Or... manual removal:
To remove an entry from the IE context menu, run regedit and navigate to
this key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ Internet Explorer\ MenuExt]

Your entry will be a subkey of that key. Select the MenuExt key and export
it (just to be safe) Then select the unwanted subkey and delete it.

You should also suspect the presence of other unwanted files or programs and
run (at least) these two programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/
Both should be updated before use.
