Extra Empty "Contacts" folder in address book only

R

Rob Bergstrom

I have a couple users (exchange 2003/Outlook 2003) that have an extra
contacts folder when they click on the address book icon when addressing an
email.

There is no such contacts folder, but something is making the extra one show
up when they click the drop down list for "Show names from the:" to pick the
Global address book or their personal contacts.

What is the fix to remove the empty unassociated contacts entry from the
list?

See if they can remove it from here in Outlook: Tools menu > E-mail accounts
View/Change existing directories/address books > Click next > Highlight
Outlook Address Book > Click Edit

That did the trick!
Thanks,
Rob
