Extra drive

Hi there,
I used to have C drive, D drive my DVD ROM. E drive my DVD rewriter. Now
when I look in my computer I find I also have an F drive?
I also have a multi card reader, but this has stopped working? not sure why.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

F is assigned to the card reader.

Hi there,
Thanks for the quick reply, I forgot to add that the F drive that you say is
normally
assigned as the card reader, is showing as a DVD drive in my computer,

I forgot to add, F drive that you say is usually assigned as the card reader
actually shows up as a DVD drive in my computer?
