External Trusts

Hi all,

I have 2 different forests in my network. I have a win2k forest and a
win2k3 forest. I am trying to configure external trusts between the two, so
that I can start migrating users over to the win23 server. does someone know
how to do this? Can someone please help me?

Hi

- Setup correctly the Dns server on both Forests. Each Domain must be able
to correctly resolve eachother domains.

- After you setup the Dns correctly (Conditional Forwarding is Normaly used
in these case, but depends on your actual configuration).

- Create the trust (External Trust in this case).

- Then use Active Directory Migration Tool v2 to migrate the users/computers
accounts.
