External Monitor

I want to enable an external monitor while seeing the
same information on my laptop LCD. I'm connected with a S-
Video cable, and I've gone to "display," but I don't
think dualview is what I want, since I want to see the
same informatin on both my laptop and the external
monitor.
I'd appreciate any help.
