External Monitor

Have Dell Dimension 1100 with XP Pro.

Want to use external monitor. Hooked up cable to back and Device Manager
shows both LCD and Plug and Play Monitors.

But Display Properties only shows one monitor so I cannot switch.

How do I direct XP/laptop to use External monitor ?

Hi Peter,

In display properties go to the settings tab, then click advanced. If your
system supports it, the option to extend to the other monitor will be here.
