External hyperlink target_blank in link bar

How do you get a external hyperlink in a custom link bar
to open in a new window target=_blank? I use shared
borders and this is for frontpage 2002

Navigations bars are great for ease of use. But as you
are finding out a bit limiting. Try using the include
page component, it's a little more work but you have much
more control over what you can do with it.

The FP navigation components do not support frame target values.
