External dvd r/rw

I'm having alot of trouble installing a Pine dvd r/rw
external usb 2.0 drive on a windows xp pro computer. It
detects the usb device but cannot find the appropriate
driver for it. Of course it is not found on the driver cd
that come with it. There is no support for the product at
the Pine website.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated,

Have a look round for 3rd party sites which could hld your
driver such as driverguide.com there normally fairly
good...

Do a search on google for drivers and you may get an
appropriate website which may give you some good patches
or drivers...
