External Display (LCD) not showing video

I am trying to show a powerpoint presentation with video
clips. The video clips will play on my laptop, but the
video is black on the projection screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure about this but it sounds like when I've been
having my TV connected to the computer and I could see
everything from my computer screen on the TV except video
clips. The solution to that problem was to set the TV as
primary display in the display settings you can reach by
right clicking your desktop and then settings, properties
or what it is called, I have a non english version of
window so I don't remember.
