Problem with LCD projector

Can anyone help me out.
I am using a IBM T40, running WinXP SP1 combined with a
Sharp NoteVision LCD projector. When I run my PowerPoint
presentations everything looks great except that any video
contained within the presentation appears as a black
rectangle on the projected image but runs normallly on the
laptop screen. This strange ocurrence also applies to
video run in Media Player under the same circumstance. I
have, I believe, installed all the latest drivers but
nothing seems to work.
