External CD-RW is recognized

I recently upgraded to XP, but when I tried to install my
drivers and Software for my burner it was not compatible
with XP,then I purchased Nero 6,so I plugged my burner
back in but windows doesn't recognize it. Nero is
installed, and the Drive is plugged in properly, it is a
Iomega 650 4X External CD-R-RW
