I am attempting to utilized Extended Memory System within
a DOS Prompt for the purpose of using a program that
requires extended memory to be on. When the program is
activated I receive an error of:

The version of the Extended Memory System loaded
is not recent enough. Please obtain and load a
version of at least 3.00 or above.

Any suggestions on getting Extended Memory to be utilized
in a DOS Prompt in the Windows XP environment? It would
be most appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Chuck

Over 50% of the DOS programs I have tried on Windows XP just will not run.
It is not unexpected! Forget about the ones that don't work, and move on!
