Aha!
I couldn't figure how it got turned on. Must have been single
stepping. Obviously I pressed F8 while the app had the focus
and not the VB editor.
And it kept interfering with my editing of the code. I even
had to type code into Notepad, cut and paste it so that I
could save changes and exit access to turn it off.
