Exporting emails from one OL to another

hi all.

i always work from my desktop, whuich has a few OST files defined. on a
recent trip, i worked only from my laptop.
i now want to move (or copy) all those emails sent and received (which are
in the default personal folders file) on the laptop - into the dekstop.

i tried moving the entire PST - but that seemed to require me to setup
outlook again - erasing all my email settings etc. luckily - i didnt erase my
original PST!

i also tried using the export wizard - and that worked, except that the
dates the emails arraived - becomes "none".

any insight would be helpful!

the only reason i cross posted, was because i didnt know which category to
post this in.

unfortunately, you have forced me to repost this, as people will think its
answered, and not bother to look at it.
