Exporting contacts to excel from a web system

I am working with a client and need to export their contacts from Outlook to
an excel file, i have done this many times in the past. This client is using
Outlook though the internet; and the menu bar option to export, is tring to
export favorates and cookies.

Any suggustions? There are about 250 contacts

By "Outlook through the Internet," do you mean Outlook Web Access, i.e. access to an Exchange mailbox through a browser? If so, it has no export capability. That's a feature of the desktop version of Outlook.
