exporting address book to new computer

It seems that I have to know the file name & ext of my
outlook address book in order to export it. I've done a
search for *.pab and *.wab and am unable to locate my
address book. I had some documentation before that called
out how to do this xfer from one pc to another but can't
find it. Can anyone lend a hand?

What version of Outlook? If Outlook 98 or 2000, in what mode is it installed
(check second line of text after selecting Help | About Microsoft Outlook)?

When you open your address book, where are the addresses? Are they in a
Contacts folder or does it say, "personal Address Book" or something?
