Exporting Address Book and Messages

I just upgraded to a new computer and need to export my
address book and messages/personal folders from my Win98
system (Outlook Express 5) to WinXP (Outlook, current
version).

When I try to export messages (All Folders), I get an
error, "Your default MAPI could not be opened."

When I export my address book to a WAB file, my new
Outlook does not recognize it. Am I resigned to exporting
a .CSV file, and how difficult is it to import this into
Outlook?

You need to import the messages into Outlook Express FIRST, and THEN import
into Outlook. You can't import OE messages directly into Outlook without
doing that.
