Exporting a Report as a Word Doc

You can try "Tools|Office Links|Publish It With Word" and see if it's
satisfactory.

Any Access report can be exported to Word or Excel. If you're using the
normal toolbars, you should have a "W" button on the print preview screen.
You can also use the "File-Export" menu and then select the "RTF" file
option.

That seems to work nice an easy! However, I have tick boxes in the report and
these don't show up in RTF. Is that easy to overcome? And is there any way to
keep the lines/boxes that I've put in to separate the fields?

Thanks!

Nope, you can set up the report to display "yes" and "no" instead of
CheckBoxes, but Snapshot Format is the only export format that retains any
graphical elements.

If retaining the formatting is important, and you are mostly concerned with
distribution of the report (editability aside) to non-Access users you could
look into "printing" the report to a *.pdf. Then you could still distribute
the report electronically. Obviously you would need Acrobat for this.
