I also had the problem of exporting data to notepad where access places dotted frame around text. Another post suggested using fixed format but when I do that I only get first 4 characters in the output.
Output should read 2000.01,04,2000.01,04
I did see a post that says you can use delimited but can not find solution that removes frames.
