Export Access Report to Word (Office 2003)

We have a number of reports in Access 2003 which we would like to export to
Word 2003. The data exports and the fonts look the same; but any graphics
(lines usually) in the Access reports DO NOT appear in the Word docs.

Is there a way to get Access to export both the data & graphics into Word or
would we need to go in and add all of the graphics??!

Access reports export only as an RTF format, which does not export graphics.

One alternative is to programmatically create and save your reports in Word
directly. You have to use Office Automation and it's more complicated than
just exporting, but it will work.

On my website (www.rogersaccesslibrary.com), is a small Access database
sample called "AutomatingWordFromAccess.mdb" which illustrates how to do
this.
