Im interested in the registry cleaner im having a major
problem in that i cannot set my home page (for eg
yahoo.com)at the moment my home page is smartsearch.ws
whenever i edit this for yahoo and apply it doesn't work
and smartsearch.ws is back as my home page, i have also
noticed that all these searched files are going on my
favourites list and i didn't put it there ... i know
someone told me that i might have ventured onto an
illegal site and this was placed in my registry ... ANY
HELP would be much appreciated.

Get SpyBot Search&Destroy from www.safer-networking.org
Download and install, run the update and scan your system.
It will detect and allow you to remove the spyware/adware
that has your system hijacked.

Also, update your anti-virus and do a full system scan of
all files.

Be sure that you keep Windows Update regularly and run a
firewall.

Had The Exact same problem. Go to this site and just
follow their instructions. They were very helpfull.
