In task manager under processes, there are 2 explorers exe.
"iexplorer.exe" and "explorer.exe" why is that?
And why does iexplorer cpu usage spike to 100 every time i log onto this
website for tips on how to fix the mess i made?
please help

Iexplorer seems to a bogus process name. This could a sign of a
spyware/virus infection since iexploer.exe does not normally exist on XP.

ok thank you, however if you dont mind how do i fix this, considering i have done everything else that i have read in the website, and am still getting rid of mcafee product that is embedded into my system, i want to completing clean everything out before i load another security program.

Try going into start>run then type %temp% Next, Delete all the files
in here that you can. Some might not delete. This should help. It worked
for me . explorer.exe and cpu usage are now back to normal
