Explorer will not display .png Thumbnails in Thumbnail view

Explorer will not display .png Thumbnails in Thumbnail view.

Does anybody know what I need to change in order for
windows explorer to display my .png files corectly in
thumbnail view?

Dunno if you have found a solution yet, but when I had the same problem, I
located the solution here:

I did the same process for .gif files, as they too stopped showing. I had
recently reinstalled Office 2K, and apparently it was something related to
that, and PhotoEd somehow not being installed correctly. Not sure why, since
it worked fine, but who knows? In any event, the process did indeed fix this
issue.
