Explorer starts in restore mode.

Lately when I open Internet Explorer it always loads in
restore mode and I want it to load maximized. How can I
get that to happen? I am computer literate and have
worked in the registry if that helps.

get that to happen?

Drag the IE window to almost full-screen size with the mouse. Press
CTRL while you close the window.
"Maximize" will not work, because the IE will not keep the size if a
window is maximized.
