Explorer problem

Hi
When I try to open some web pages I get the message that Explorer has
encountered a problem and must shut down. Can anyone tell me how to stop
this

A few months ago this started to happen to me and I noticed had this problem
specifically when I opened cnn.com

I istalled google's popup blocker and since then all the IE crashes
disappeared.
