Explorer Pauses after page loads

After I browse to any website, the page fully loads. Then, immediately after, I can not do anything with explorer. Can't scroll, select anything. Basically, Explorer freezes after the page loads. Does anyone know why this happens or how I can fix it. I tried netscape and it works fine but I don't like it. My connection is good, and temporary internet files and cookies are cleared. Any help?

I am having the same exact problem. I hope there is a fix for this. The only one I have found so far is to install another browser

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
