Explorer Keeps Crashing !!

Hi,

I just did a fresh install of windows Xp Pro + SP1 and I installed all
the software.
The problem is, at the moment, If I load an Image onto a virtual drive
and access a folder on it, the screen will freeze and explorer will
crash and reopen and I can't access the folder. This also happens if
I try to 'EXPLORE' a cd in the cd-rom drive and sometimes when I'm
just looking through my computers folders and drives.

does anyone know why Explorer crashes like this ??
 
Hi,

Service pack came with winXp..I didn't install it seperatly as i
believe it installed when I install WinXp.
