explorer has encounted a problem

dear saff,

i am having problems with my internet connection as every
time i double click the explorer icon a message comes up
saying " Windows Explorer has encounted a problem and
needs to close" this message always comes up and when i
press send error report or not it still comes up.
it also says AppName: explorer.exe modname:
msvcrt.dll

can please help.
