Explorer gone crazy!!!!

Hi,

Recently both explorer (explorer.exe) and internet
explorer (iexplore.exe) have been using obscene amounts of
system resources - usually around 97% of the processor
time. Any idea what's going on and more importantly how to
stop it going on?
Have got about 1.7gb free space on the hard drive to which
it's installed, so I'm guessing it's not that! Checked
with GRisoft's AVG and there doesn't appear to be any
viruses hanging about ...

Regards,
Algy

You have to look for "ad-ware" this can eat almost all system resources
download Ad-aware6.0 or Spybot and scan your pc to remove "ad-ware"

Cheers, Ad-aware worked nicely (strangely I checked with
Spybot before I posted and it didn't come up with
anything ...)
