Explorer garbled

i am currently running Windows xp sp2, i am using explorer 6.o. IF I leave
explorer up and running for more than an hour or so it eventually quits
working. IT starts at the top with the address bar and toolbar becoming slow
to load or incomplete, when i click on favorites the scroll window turns
black, hitting file and any of the buttons along the tooldbar, it does the
same thing...it eventually just freezes all together. I have to close
explorer and reopen and it works for an hour or so and starts all over. I
have done nothing new or loaded any new programs.
 
See if emptying your cache helps, in Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options,
delete files.
 
thanks Mary, i keep my pc pretty clean of the crap. So that didnt work. but
