Explorer - file order listing

Whenever I go to either open a file, add a file, save a
file...etc. Windows always lists the files/folder in
order as which file was last edited/added instead of just
listing the files by name alphabetically which is a pain -
It did not use to do that is there any way this can be
changed? Thanks
 
You could either go open explorer > tools > folder options > View > Restore
Defaults OR when viewing files and folders, simply make sure View by details
is selected and click on the NAME tab at the top to display alphabetically.
