oops have clicked onsend before having written message !
Problem is I have a slow explorer for a while now, sometimes only after
seconds responding to click or shortcut keys.

I think I have already had a similar problem and had disabled explorer
extensions group by group to find the offending program.
At that time it was some part of Magic ISO.
Now I cannot find how I had done this.
Is there a way to display the explorer extensions and selectively disable
part of them ?
By explorer extensions I mean something like BHO for internet explorer.

TIA

Not sure I follow you, but do you mean Type MSCONFIG in the RUN box after
clicking the Start button?

yES THATS IT !!!
THaaaaaaaaaaanks
