explorer.exe uses 95-99% of CPU at startup

When XP starts, explorer.exe uses 95-99% of CPU according to Task Manager.
Ending the process and restarting explorer.exe in Task Manager seems to fix
the problem until the next restart.

Anyone know why? And how to fix it? TIA

Try to scan for Viruses and malwares on your computer from here:
http://www.pandasecurity.com
http://www.trendmicro.com
For malwares:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com lavasoft SE for Personal use
http://www.safer-networking.org for Spybot S&D

Then when it happend and what changed to make things go wrong?.
Did you installed any Updates or install free download from the Internet
recently?.
