I keep on getting this error message when I try running
the Windows Explorer of W2000. It is random, but I do get
it very often. The whole ordeal goes as:
"Explorer.exe has generated errors and will be closed by
Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error
log is being created."
The details of the error is:
Event Type: Information
Event Source: Winlogon
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1002
Date: 05/07/03
Time: 5:46:13 PM
User: N/A
Description:
The shell stopped unexpectedly and Explorer.exe was
restarted.
I have found one "remedy" as indicated on Microsoft site
where it refers to having Allaire products installed
(Homestead & ColdFusion) which I do not have.
Any help will be highly appreciated since each time I
either have to re-start a few services/programs or do a
reboot.
