Explorer.exe crashes after unistaling SP2

Ok, I know that you have lots of posts that may seems to ask the same
questions, lots of people have been having trouble with SP2; that;s why i
unistalled it. explorer.xex started to crash since i instaled it. I thoung
that by uninstalling it all the crashing would stop, but it didn't. I have
the CD to install SP2 but now windows update is downloading and wants me to
install it. I dont' know if i should reinstall it because Explorer.exe is
still crashing at no particullar time, i can access to my hard drive, or
control panel, but it crashes at any time. what shouls i do??? Should i
re-install it? I also had a problem with Divx, but i dont know it that is
related.

PD: if you guys ever find an answer to all of these questions; I think you
should put the answers in a page, based on the most popular questions for
example SP2 crashes explorer.exe, this way, you wouldn't recive as many posts
as you do with the same questions..
