Explorer.exe 100% CPU only on my account

Hi, i'm hoping someone here can provide a quick solution to this as it is
really annoying! Whilst I was working with multiple programs explorer.exe
started using 100% CPU and seriously slowed my pc down. This sometimes
happens and usually ending it in the task manager and restarting it solves
the problem. However this time it didn't, and whenever i try log on to my
user it shoots right up to 100% again, and therefore my desktop and other
programs can't load, and the taskbar and startmenu are unusable. The only
way I'm writing this now is because i ended explorer.exe and run outlook
express from the run menu! I don't know exactly whats causing it, but it
isn't affecting any of the other users on this pc, just mine. Anyone any
thoughts?

Many thanks in advance,
Ben Foster

Ok that sounds about right, not the same situation but I think my user's
profiles corrupted. Would rather re-create my user profile as a last resort,
would you think a system restore would fix it?

Many Thanks,
Ben Foster
