Explorer doesn't do anything

After I type in a web address on Explorer and click
on "go", nothing happens. If I type the address in a
search engine like www.yahoo.com, I can go to the address
but not if I put it directly on the address bar. I've run
AdAware and removed all bugs. Any suggestions?

in ie tools, options ,advanced,scroll down half way
,,search from tool bar see that "don't search from address
bar" is not checked. then change to show results in main
window,,,click apply,ok.
