Explorer and folder auto refresh

Hello,

We have a user with windows xp pro sp1 with a strange problem.

In explorer or in a windows folder if a new file is created or a file is
renamed it does not appear until f5 refresh is pressed or the user goes out
of the folder and back in.

Can anyone suggest what needs to be set to enable the folders to refesh
immediately.
