Explorer Address bar

I installed both the Google bar and Altavista search
bar. This made the address bar disappear. Also, is it
possible to show the address window on the start bar? I
used to have it configured this way in 98.

In IE, have you confirmed that Menu: View/Toolbars won't put it back?

Re Address on "start bar", you can right mouse click on the Task Bar,
pick Toolbars, and select Address.
