Explain your error messages!

Your error messages, by-and-large leave users "Help"-less at the point where
they are dumped with an unexplained problem.

PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE include in the Help file an exhaustive list of error
messages, their explanation in PLAIN ENGLISH (not programmers '[nurd-talk')
and a troubleshooting approach.

Hi

as far as i know MS people don't by and large stop by here and read
messages - this is a user peer-peer support environment ... if you'ld like
to let MS know what you think or would like to see in a program the only
method i know of is to send an email to (e-mail address removed) with the name
of the product in the subject line.
