EXPL32 ???

when I start up my computer, a box called EXPL32 opens up but nothing is in
it. This only started to happen recently. It does not appear to affect
anything, I can close it ok and things are fine after that, any help is
appreciated...

It's most likely the EXPL32.EXE virus of the worm type

Try a Google search for remedial action
