Hello Marsha;

Check your system date. If your system date is correct,
check the long and short date formats for your locale,
and ensure that you are set to the topmost choice in the
dropdown boxes for those formats. (or tolerate the
strangeness, which may extend to the beta terminating at
an unexpected date.)

Uninstall from ADD/REM,
Delete in C:/windows/Program files, MSAS subfolders and
the MSAS folder; and delete in
C:\windows\system32 the following files:
GCCollection.dll
hashlib.dll
gcUnCompress.dll

Run a regcleaner (Ccleaner Issues)

http://www.ccleaner.com/ccdownload.asp

Also use the temp cleaner of Ccleaner.

Make certain that you are using the administrator account
that installed the app.

Do a fresh install with version .615 (latest)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?
FamilyId=321CD7A2-6A57-4C57-A8BD-

Also upadte in XP SP2 all the critical updates.
