Expired Antispyware

It is now 1/11/06 and i've just downloaded the MAS from the microsoft site.
I installed it but when i run it, i get a message that it is expired. it is
the only link for it on their site.. any clue on how to get the new version
that will expire in june?

If you don't wish to try Engel's suggestion--which has worked for some, but
not all--here's an alternative:

Navigate in Explorer to:

\program files\,microsoft antispyware\gcasSWUpdater.exe
(look for a satellite dish icon)

and double click on that.

This should, perhaps after a short delay, invoke an auto-update mechanism
which should get you the correct code successfully.
