Experience with Windows XP Embedded Supplemental Toolkit and book?

Does anyone have experience with the book and tools sold at the site XPE
Center at:

http://www.seanliming.com/

The Windows XP Embedded Supplemental Toolkit sounds very good. It
includes something called SLXDiff which presumably can compare two SLX
files, and hopefully give a meaningful comparison (what components and
properties are different). This is a real weakness in the Microsoft tools.

But the descripton of this tool is rather sparse and there is no trial
version. The tool is avaible only on CD and if the wrapper has been
opened, you cannot return it. I'd like to find out more before buying.

Also they have a book: "Windows XP Embedded Advanced" which also sounds
very good.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I use Sean's tools! <grin> Component Helper is my favorite as it does most
of the component creation for you to componentize a driver or application.

Whether you get the tools or not, you really need to get his books. Here's
an old blog on the XPe books from our MVps and which ones to start with:
http://blogs.msdn.com/embedded/archive/2005/03/16/397246.aspx. When new
people join my team I hand them a copy of those books from Sean Liming and
James Beau Cseri to get them up to speed and add to their library.
