Exit Problem

When closing Internet Explorer 6, the window does not close fully but remains visible (though not accessible anymore) and shows up as "about:blank- Microsoft Explorer" in the taskbar. Clicking on the taskbar label finally exits the program completely. Howe can this problem be fixed?

The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
