Existing NT Domain support in ADS

The company that I work is preparing to upgrade to ADS
from NT 4.0. Does the upgrade process retain the trusts
between offsite domains that were established in NT 4.0?
or do we have recreated those trusts through ADS?

Any existing trusts before the upgrade will remain after the upgrade.
