Exe files running and using cpu

All my .exe files are running and keeping the cpu usage at 95-100%. I can't
run anything. I've done several virus scans and even contacted tech support
with the virus software company, and nothing is detected. What is likely the
problem and what can I do?

Then stop some of the "exe" files!

Go to Start\Run\and type; "msconfig" (w/o quotation marks) and press
Enter\go to Start tab, and check which startup programs have a check mark,
there should only be a few; the antivirus, office, messenger, and any other
program you may have set to run at bootup, uncheck other suspicious or
unknown programs... next go to the registry; Start\Run\type; regedit and
enter, and go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

The same in the Run registry keys; only the default alphanumeric value, the
antivirus value, the messenger, ctfmon, and office values should be
distributed in both keys, so delete any other value. Also scan with
anti-spyware applications and scan with online antivirus to find possible
infection. Download Adaware SE, Spybot Search & Destroy, CWShredder and The
Cleaner. And as last resort; HijackThis... use this program with "Do a
System scan and save a logfile" which you need to post in the appropriate
forum to seek help in identifying the results.

Install Process Monitor or Process Explorer if your problems persist, to see
which applications, versions, dlls, etc. make your .exes run at such high
CPU consumption.

Download process software.

if you are not using those
programs running as indicated
by the .exe, then why not
close them?

if you are using the services
resulting from running those
..exe files, then i fail to see
an issue here...
