EXE file opening as a wordpad doc

I have a problem. All of my executable files are opening
up as wordpad files. I am not sure how they changed, but
how do I change it back. Mine is the only profile having
this problem. I am using Windows XP. Any help would be
appreciated.

Hi,

You munged the .exe file association somehow. Probably by trying to open a
..exe file in wordpad to look at it, then leaving the "always use..." box
checked. Copy exe_fix.reg from ftp://12.107.147.141/regfiles to your system
and double click it. Agree to the warning, it will reset the defaults for
that file type.
