Can anyone help me please?
I am trying to send an .exe file attachment through
microsoft outlook, but each time outlook deletes
attachment saying it maycontain a virus,so it will delete
the said file.....

I realise I should be reducing some security level? but
where and how do I find it????

many thanks in advance of help !!

Hi Sue

Go to Tools\Options\Security tab, then UNTICK the box
about Allowing Attachments that could be a Virus.

Either rename or zip the attachment. Rename the extension to .ex_ and give
the recipient instructions for restoring the extension is one method. I
much prefer to use .zip files.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Sue asked:
