Excluding Credits Using Random Effects

When using random effects, I do not want the credit effect to be including
in the random slide list. Is there a way to exclude the credits effect /
credits slide from being a part of the random effects

This has been a real sore point with me and has caused a lot of heartache
and embarressment as some of my bullet points scroll right off of the screen
during a presentation.

Will appreciate any help in this matter.

PowerPoint does not have the ability to allow you to choose a subset of
animation or transition effects to be used when the Random Effects or
Random Transition options are selected.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) feel strongly that PowerPoint
should have this kind of feature (without having to resort to VBA or
add-ins), don't forget to send your feedback to Microsoft at:

It's VERY important that, for EACH wish, you describe in detail, WHY it is
important TO YOU that your product suggestion be implemented. A good wish
submssion includes WHAT scenario, work-flow, or end-result is blocked by
not having a specific feature, HOW MUCH time and effort ($$$) is spent
working around a specific limitation of the current product, etc. Remember
that Microsoft receives THOUSANDS of product suggestions every day and we
read each one but, in any given product development cycle, there are ONLY
sufficient resources to address the ones that are MOST IMPORTANT to our
customers so take the extra time to state your case as CLEARLY and
COMPLETELY as possible so that we can FEEL YOUR PAIN.
